Envy & Other Sins Man Bites God
MUSIC PROMO VIDEO

UK Indie band Envy & Other Sins commissioned Free Spirit to produce a brand new promotional music video for their latest single “Man Bites God” - The second track off their debut album "We Leave At Dawn" (released 2009).

The band wished to feature heavily in the video and maintain their popular eccentric and unique style. The song is lyrically rich with metaphors and imagery, which allowed Free Spirit to develop ideas that would visually reflect the off kilter tone of the track.

The video was shot in a disused warehoure in single night shoot, using TV Broadcast standard Sony Digibeta Cameras. Apple's Final Cut Studio 2 and Final Cut Pro were used in post-production and various effects and colour grading packages were used to achieve the unique look the band requested. The budget on this project was very tight, but we delivered a video that has the look of a high end production.

In 2009, the "Man Bites God" music video won a YIFTA Independent Film & TV Award for Best Music Video of the Year. Another of Free Spirit's music videos "Martyr" again for Envy & Other Sins was also nominated in the same category, but "Man Bites God" took the award.

The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world.
