Television Programme Production  Free Spirit Film & TV is actively engaged in the Television Industry and the production of broadcasted content. We have established strong links with TV broadcasters and commissioning editors at all the main UK terrestrial channels and with leading channels in the USA.
Our development team is constantly exploring and creating original TV programme ideas for documentaries, special features and drama.
Achieving a successful Television Commission is a complex process which requires time, dedication and commitment.
Free Spirit does it all, from the initial concept to final delivery of the finish programme or series. We thoroughly enjoy the process and find it immensely creative and rewarding. We have all the necessary skills and expertise to produce, project manage and organise TV shows large or small.
 Our key production team consists of Bafta winning professionals with years of specialist training and experience in the Broadcast Television & Film Industry. This gives us a enormous advantage and enables us to deliver exactly what the broadcasters want in the form of high standard, quality programming. In the highly specialized field of TV production we collaborate with other creative personnel ranging from producers, directors, script writers to cinematographers, set designers and film editors.
We are enormously proud of the programmes we have produced to date. We delivered them on time and on budget and they were extremely well received by the broadcasters. The series were rated as ‘flagship programmes’ during the year of transmission.
Free Spirit Film & TV are currently involved in high level discussions with commissioning editors from a major terrestrial channel for a brand new cutting edge documentary series for 2009. Apart from working with highly regarded and established professionals we are also committed to offering opportunities to new emerging talent. Free Spirit provides a supportive professional environment for those eager to develop and learn their craft. The experience gained is invaluable because it provides relevant, practical experience in all aspects of television production. We principally shoot on Super 16mm film and Digibeta video, however with the rapidly developing world of digital cinematography we now also work with HD cameras. Our edit suites are equipped with the very latest HD Final Cut Pro Edit and Avid Systems.

 Free Spirit Film & TV are constantly looking for new ideas for television programmes. If you think you have a great idea for a TV series or even a one off documentary and don’t know where to go with it - come to us. TV Channels will only commission through a recognized production company. If your idea is one we’re interested in we will help develop the concept and get it to the right people at the broadcasting TV Companies.
If your idea is successfully commissioned by a broadcaster we will either pay you for the idea or if you prefer you can be involved with the production process, who knows it could lead to exciting new career opportunity!
