Tommy's Ultimate Workshop
 FINISHED WORKSHOP


 

After weeks of hard graft Tommy Walsh’s dream finally became a reality, he had created his ‘Ultimate Workshop’

 

The series was a great success and although the Workshop would be a very large project for any DIY enthusiast it hopefully inspired viewers to see what is possible.

 

The essence of the show was that we wanted to illustrate that with careful planning and following a meticulous build strategy, this type of project can be achieved by anyone with enough DIY skills as well as demonstrating what you can legally build in your garden without planning permission.


Obviously things didn’t all go according to plan, and we were keen to show any problems to give the Series a feeling of reality - even an expert like Tommy gets things wrong sometimes! As always Tommy and his team enjoyed getting stuck in to get the job done and although the schedule was quite demanding Tommy managed to make time for the all important banter that makes a show like this fun as well as informative.


Free Spirit are very proud of the show it was a great success and although we produced it in 2005 it is still being repeated on Discovery TV.
